If you have any questions that haven't been covered here, please feel free to email me. There is no question that I haven't heard so don't hold back!

  • How long does my hair need to be to get waxed?

To get the absolute best possible wax, I prefer 3 weeks of hair growth. Especially when waxing legs, backs or chests, it's imperative that the hair is long enough that the wax can grab and pull it cleanly free.
  • What can I do to prepare before my wax?

    1. Grow out your hair for three weeks. 2. Exfoliate and moisturize. 3. Come in well hydrated, try to avoid too much caffeine on the day of as it can heighten your pain level. 4. Take Ibuprofen if you'd like. 5. Know that it's never as bad as you think it will be!
  • What kind of wax do you use?

I use a combination of Cirepil and Lycon hard wax as well as some Amber soft wax. The hard wax is gentle on the skin and is great for people who are on the sensitive side.
  • Will my skin be red for a long time after?

Your skin will be pink after the wax. I use a soothing lotion and then high frequency (a quick and painless treatment that kills bacteria, reduces redness and helps prevent ingrowns) followed by a cooling blue light therapy. Redness goes away in a few hours for most people.
  • Do I need to do anything after?

My aftercare kits include a gentle salicylic acid serum, a scrubby mitt, sugar scrub and a detoxifying mask. I recommend that you use the serum and mitt each day. The scrub and the mask can be used once a week. Much like brushing your teeth between trips to the dentist, it's important to do your home care! Exfoliation is key in preventing ingrown hairs and prepping the skin for your next wax.
  • Can I get waxed while on my period?

Yes, absolutely. As long as you're comfortable, I'm comfortable.
  • Do you wax men?

I do but usually I only take new male brazilian clients by referral. If you are new to me, you're welcome to e-mail me and let me know what you're looking for.
  • Do you provide services for trans clients?

Of course. My menu is currently gendered so if you have questions about what to book, please e-mail me.
